I'm pretty sure this has been in development longer than the DSi was released. Nintendo would have absolutely no way to have known the DSi was gonna be such a major hit. Also, Dr. Mario 64 had 4 player VS.

I just downloaded that racing game, asphalt 4 or something. it's pretty good. solid 3d. 800 points is a bit pricey for me though

I gotta get my DSi fixed soon.
The screen broke and it costs $50 to fix it!!!
I have good downloads on it to. :'(

Well, It kind of worked.
Nintendo is fixing my DSi for free.

1). Give you a new DSi and transfer everything over (which you can do by sending in 2 DSis right now), or

2). Replace the screen.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this, but apparently I got my White DSi just 2 days after they were released in NA. The weirder thing is that I had no idea at the time and wanted Black (which my place of work didn't have) so I went with white instead. Strange how things work out.
